G'day
Ive always loved doing things for charity from a young age. Having a go setting a challenge for myself or just lending a helping hand for a good cause.
The main reason for me taking on the Kokoda Track and raising money for mens mental health is I have always looked up to, respected and loved how the ANZACs fought and sacrificed everything to give Australia the freedom and safety we live with today, so it is a big bucketlist tick for myself to pay my respects to the diggers and walk in the footsteps they battled though risking there lives.
Also Im big on the cause we are raising money for.
Mental health is something eveyone struggles with and it hits hard for me. Personaly Ive had one of my best mates have a rough go with his mental health and sadly he is no longer with us. He was a larikin, the sort of bloke that would go to war with you and definitely take this challenge on without a doubt. So Im diving head first into this with a mob of like minded men in memory of him and everyone else that has struggled and is struggling!
