Why Am I Doing This?
Thursday 29th JanMen’s mental health is a topic I’ve been advocating for for years. Whether it’s through my mates, my sporting community, or getting involved with R U OK? Day at work, it’s become an easy and open conversation to have with those around me.
So why have I decided to join the 25km Walk for a Bloke? The second half of 2025 really challenged my mental health, and after finishing the year close to rock bottom, I knew that 2026 needed to be about shifting my mindset and focusing on positivity. One day, while scrolling through social media, I saw this event pop up and immediately thought it was a brilliant opportunity — not only to raise awareness, but also to align with some personal goals of my own.
