What is Walk for a Bloke
Walk for a Bloke is more than just a 25km challenge. It’s a day for blokes to step up, walk side by side, and make a real difference for men’s mental health.
This is your chance to reconnect with old mates, meet new ones, and be part of something bigger - a movement that gets blokes talking, walking, and supporting one another.
Whether you walk solo, rally your mates into a team, or get your whole workplace involved, every step you take helps change the story for men’s mental health.

Why touching base and why having a sense of humour really matters
Tuesday 13th Jan I lost my father to suicide nearly 12 years ago. There was no note, no real signs that something was wrong. I did see little signs in his last years but I never took them seriously. My dad was the workhorse, the rock in the family, the strong one. But he always kept his emotions quiet. I learned that a lot of men keep to themselves and don’t want to burden people with what they’re going through. This event shaped my life, family and everything around it. What I did discover in the years afterwards is this: life moves faster as time goes on, having a silly and immature sense of humour is a wonderful thing not just for me but others around you and man, I can’t take too many things that seriously, because it isn’t worth it. However, for the things that truly matter. I do.Thank you to my Sponsors
