Walk for a Bloke Brighton

What is Walk for a Bloke

Previously known as Nicks Walk, Walk for a Bloke is a unique event for blokes to come together and walk 25kms to raise awareness and funds for bloke’s mental health.

Walk for a Bloke is more than just a fundraiser – it can act as a form of medicine. By encouraging physical activity, creating opportunities for mateship, and providing a safe space for men to share, listen, and learn, we help build resilience and strengthen mental well-being through action.

Day 7&8- Stanmer Park/Lewes

Monday 17th Mar
This day my legs were REALLY feeling it plus I used an old pair of hiking boots which pressed against my toes but that didn't stop me reaching my 10k!

Lewes I did a loop round the town plus Railway land

Day 6- Rest day and recharge

Saturday 15th Mar
After a big walk yesterday I felt it was time to take a break and rest up ready for the weekend

Day 5: Lewes to Middle Farm

Saturday 15th Mar
Yesterday i decided to increase the distance this time and so why not walk to Middle Farm in Firle! Great walk through Glynde too though nearly trespassed on farmers land but then found another way to the destination. Legs definitely felt it!

Day 3&4: Kingston again and Railway land

Thursday 13th Mar
Decided to go back to Kingston on day 3 and explore more of the village. Due to time constraints I only managed to walk round the Railway land and a bit of the town centre in Lewes but bagged 3k in so made up for it!

Day 2: Newhaven to Seaford

Tuesday 11th Mar
Beautiful coastal route done today taking in all the fab scenery along the River Ouse and sea marshes at Tide Mills. 10k in the bag!

Day 1: Lewes to Kingston

Monday 10th Mar
Day 1 completed. Walked 7k from Lewes to Kingston and back on a fab sunny day. No aches or pains yet and feeling good ready for day 2 tomorrow!

Walk With A Bloke Start Post

Sunday 9th Mar
Hey everyone!

On the 22nd March I'll be walking 25km from Worthing Pier to Brighton as part of the charity ''Spoke to A Bloke''which helps raise awareness of men's mental health and suicide. As many of you know suicide rates have shot up over the years and we don't want to see it go any higher and by doing this walk we're speaking out to others to use they're voice and speak up what's on their mind. You're not alone!

My target goal is £250 to fundraise for the event and as part of it I've decided to walk 3km each day until the 22nd March to reach 25km so if you're able to donate that would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks for visiting my page! Will be updating on my progress! Tomorrow is day 1
