Terms & Conditions
Spoke to a Bloke x Mindshare London Walk – Terms & Conditions
1. Event and eligibility
The Mindshare London Walk (“Event”) is an approximately 14km charity walk through London on Thursday 19 November 2026, organised by Mindshare, part of WPP Media (“Organiser”), in support of Spoke to a Bloke Incorporated (Australia) (“Spoke”).
The Event is for WPP employees only. Registration is free and closes on 13 November 2026. Meet at 1:30pm for a 2:00pm start at Tate Modern Garden, subject to confirmation or weather-related changes.
2. Responsibilities and insurance
Mindshare is responsible for Event organisation, logistics, participant communications and event insurance. Spoke provides the fundraising platform and supports the walk through a designated walk leader.
Each organisation remains responsible for its own activities and legal obligations. Mindshare’s event insurance is subject to its policy terms and does not necessarily provide personal accident cover. Participants should consider any personal insurance they need.
3. Participation and safety
You are responsible for assessing your fitness to walk approximately 14km and seeking medical advice if unsure. Bring suitable footwear, clothing, water and any personal medication.
The route uses public roads and pathways open to traffic and other users. Risks include slips, trips, falls, illness, adverse weather and traffic hazards. Take reasonable care, obey traffic signals and follow reasonable instructions from the Organiser and walk leader.
Notify the walk leader if you become unwell, cannot continue or leave early. Contact the Organiser beforehand about any accessibility or support requirements.
4. Liability
Participation involves the risks described above, but accepting these terms does not waive your legal rights.
Neither the Organiser nor Spoke is responsible for loss or damage unless legally liable for it. Nothing excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. You are responsible for looking after your belongings.
5. Fundraising
Participants commit to seeking to raise at least £14 through their individual fundraising page. This is not an entry fee, automatic payment or authorisation to charge a fundraising shortfall.
Fundraising must be lawful and accurately represent the Event and Spoke. Donations support Spoke’s charitable work and are subject to the applicable donation terms. Use approved materials and obtain permission for other uses of Spoke’s name or logo. Spoke may restrict platform access where reasonably necessary to address misuse or breaches of these terms.
6. T-shirts
Mindshare organises and supplies the T-shirts. Register and provide your size by 5 November 2026 to request one. Shirts cannot be guaranteed after this date. Direct shirt enquiries to the Organiser.
7. Photography and privacy
Photography and filming may take place for publicity, reporting and fundraising, in accordance with applicable data protection law and the relevant privacy notices. Tell the Organiser before the Event and the walk leader on arrival if you prefer not to appear.
Personal information will be used for Event administration, safety and related fundraising as explained in the Organiser’s and Spoke’s privacy notices provided during registration. Accepting these terms does not constitute blanket consent to photography or unrelated marketing.
8. Changes or cancellation
The Organiser may reasonably change, postpone, reroute or cancel the Event for safety, weather or other delivery issues, notifying participants where practicable. The walk leader may alter or stop the walk if conditions become unsafe. Donations will be handled under applicable law and the donation terms.
9. Contact and governing law
For Event logistics, accessibility, insurance or T-shirts, contact the Mindshare organiser named in your Event communications. For fundraising platform enquiries, contact cassie@spoketoabloke.org.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and do not limit participants’ mandatory legal rights.
By registering, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
