Walk for a Bloke Gold Coast

What is Walk for a Bloke

Previously known as Nicks Walk, Walk for a Bloke is a unique event for blokes to come together and walk 25kms to raise awareness and funds for bloke’s mental health.

Walk for a Bloke is more than just a fundraiser – it can act as a form of medicine. By encouraging physical activity, creating opportunities for mateship, and providing a safe space for men to share, listen, and learn, we help build resilience and strengthen mental well-being through action.

This Week We Lost a Mate

Wednesday 19th Feb
I won’t put his name in here, as it is too soon.
February 15, a mate from Bondi.
I remember the first time we met at Icebergs and he was a strong Viking looking bloke, peak Bondi, and he turned out to be an absolute legend.
An artist, who made some great artwork that featured around Icebergs, in hotel lobbies and office buildings.
Two days before Christmas and I just moved into a new place, I didn’t have a tree, I knew he made one for another friend out of his steel so I thought maybe he had another - he didn’t it was a one off, but he said he would make one for me and drop it the next day. That’s just how he was!
When I heard the news, I didn’t believe it.

The Unpopular Truth of Male Suicide

Wednesday 19th Feb
The statistics of male suicide is horrific.

"Men die by suicide for our lack of courage, and our need for comfort.

We implore men to talk, but then say nothing ourselves about the things so many of them are telling us.

So where do we go from here?

Should we expect and ask more from men's health advocates?

How many more men must be lost before we find the courage to speak for them?

What do you think?"

About Me

Wednesday 19th Feb
Let’s leave finance and legals for another time—this is about living well.
I am passionate about longevity, and the pursuit of health optimisation.
Outside of work, you’ll find me on the polo field, sailing, or conquering alpine slopes—Europe is mostly done, but I’m always open to tips for America.
Raised in a family business rooted in textiles and property development, I was mentored in the art of Italian craftsmanship and design principles. I continue this legacy as an avid designer, patron of Pitti Uomo, and a passion for food and wine.
