What is Walk for a Bloke

Walk for a Bloke is more than just a 25km challenge. It’s a day for blokes to step up, walk side by side, and make a real difference for men’s mental health.

This is your chance to reconnect with old mates, meet new ones, and be part of something bigger - a movement that gets blokes talking, walking, and supporting one another.

Whether you walk solo, rally your mates into a team, or get your whole workplace involved, every step you take helps change the story for men’s mental health.

Why I decided to walk

For me this walk isn’t just about putting one foot in front of the other. 


It’s about awareness, slowing down, thinking and checking in with myself and other blokes. It’s about realising us blokes are not always rough and tough. That sometimes we’re struggling—and that’s okay.


We don’t have to carry everything on your own. Speaking up, checking in, or reaching out for help isn’t weakness… it’s strength.


So take a walk, check in with yourself and do some thinking and chatting. Have the conversation. Look out for your mates—and yourself.
