What is Walk for a Bloke

Previously known as Nicks Walk, Walk for a Bloke is a unique event for blokes to come together and walk 25kms to raise awareness and funds for bloke’s mental health.

Walk for a Bloke is more than just a fundraiser – it can act as a form of medicine. By encouraging physical activity, creating opportunities for mateship, and providing a safe space for men to share, listen, and learn, we help build resilience and strengthen mental well-being through action.

Walk for a Bloke - Perth

Wednesday 15th Jan

Despite my bung foot (a big toe that needs fusing), I have decided to get involved in Walk for a Bloke – Perth . Walk for a Bloke is a 25km walk, bringing men across the country together on Sat 22^nd March to raise mental health awareness, promote physical well-being, and foster connections. Participants find a supportive space where they can share openly, listen, and support one another. Beyond physical activity, it’s an opportunity to normalise conversations around mental health, strengthen friendships, and build a sense of community.

Having lost a cousin to suicide and having had a few visits from the black dog myself throughout my adult life, I think this is a great cause and one that is close to my heart.

If anyone would like to make a donation to help support Men's Mental Health via the "Spoke to a Bloke" charity, it would be greatly appreciated.
