What is Walk for a Bloke
Previously known as Nicks Walk, Walk for a Bloke is a unique event for blokes to come together and walk 25kms to raise awareness and funds for bloke’s mental health.
Walk for a Bloke is more than just a fundraiser – it can act as a form of medicine. By encouraging physical activity, creating opportunities for mateship, and providing a safe space for men to share, listen, and learn, we help build resilience and strengthen mental well-being through action.

Counting Down to the Gold Coast Walk for a Bloke!
Tuesday 18th Mar
The countdown is on! In just a matter of days, over 190 walkers will hit the Gold Coast, stepping up to raise awareness and much-needed funds for men’s mental health and suicide prevention.
This cause is incredibly close to my heart, and the overwhelming support we’ve received so far has been nothing short of amazing. I want to take a moment to shout out to our incredible sponsors and donors, without whom this event wouldn’t be possible.
A massive thank you to Story Bridge Hotel, CIVEO, Pembroke Resources, Mike Schrick, Bess Hooker, and the many, many more who have generously contributed. Your support is making a real difference in the lives of so many men, helping to create vital conversations and break down the stigma surrounding mental health.
With the event just around the corner, our team of support, friends, and family is working tirelessly behind the scenes, ensuring we have all the supplies, logistics, and everything else needed to make the day a success. From hydration to first-aid, signage, and support stations – we are covering all bases to make sure our walkers have the best experience possible.
If you haven’t yet had a chance to donate or get involved, there’s still time! Every dollar raised goes directly to Spoke to a Bloke, funding initiatives that support men’s mental health and provide a network of help when it’s needed most.

Super pumped to be hitting the pavement again, walking 25km from Surfers Paradise to Coolangatta to raise awareness and funds for men’s mental health and suicide prevention.
